SOLANA BEACH, CALIFORNIA. -- May 7, 2018

Paladin Group, a world-class collaboration solution and cloud technology consulting firm, is pleased to announce that we are welcoming two more full-time employees to our senior leadership team. Both team members are recognized thought leaders and bring decades of experience in building and managing successful cloud communities for enterprise organizations.

Ted Hopton joins Paladin as Vice President of the Internal Community Practice, tasked with building an expert team to unleash the value of clients’ online employee communities. He brings over 15 years of experience building and leading online communities, including 10 years at large corporations. Most recently Ted served as the Director of Social Business for McGraw-Hill Education, where he was responsible for their internal community that connected and empowered over 5,000 employees around the world.

“I want to take all I have learned in 15 years as a practitioner and combine it with  Paladin’s many years of experience delivering for clients to build a consulting practice that consistently exceeds customer expectations,” Ted says of his new role at Paladin.

Ted is also an avid soccer and tennis player. He enjoys exploring the outdoors and all of the activities available in the city of Chicago, especially rooting for the Cubs.

Ryan Rutan joins Paladin as Senior Director of Technology, Internal Communities Practice. For the past five years, he has led the Developer Relations team at Jive Software. He brings more than a decade of experience in innovation and customer marketing in communities, as well as internal collaboration solutions. In addition to his work in customer communities and collaboration, Ryan is a writer, and has authored several creative pieces, including a children’s book about the Internet of Things improving Christmas called PolarPort.

“I’m excited to put my experience to work helping our customers realize the power of their enterprise communities,” Ryan says. “The core of the innovative work I have been part of at Jive is highly applicable across multiple platforms, and I am ready to show our customers the benefits their communities can bring in terms of internal and external communications, brand identity, and more.”

Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, volunteering in his community in Austin, Texas, and building cool technology.

“All of us here at Paladin Group are excited to welcome Ted and Ryan to the team,” says Alan Lewis, CEO of Paladin Group. “They are both rockstars in the communities space and will help us better serve our clients who are looking to take advantage of everything collaborative cloud environments offer.”
