Paladin Group Introduces Salesforce Community Cloud Bolt for Jive Clients

SOLANA BEACH, CALIF. — APRIL 19, 2018 — Paladin Group, a Silver Salesforce consulting firm specializing in implementing collaborative environments (online communities), recently introduced a new Salesforce Lightning Bolt for Jive clients looking to make the switch to Community Cloud.

This Bolt closely mimics the look and feel of Jive, while also mirroring processes on the back end to help preserve data or address known gaps between the two platforms.

“Using this Bolt, we can migrate a community from Jive to Salesforce Community Cloud very quickly and efficiently,” said Carlo Saggese, Chief Technology Officer of Paladin Group. “We are able to provide a user experience that is close to identical to what users have had in Jive, and the familiarity allows them to jump right into the new community without missing a beat.”

The Salesforce Lightning Bolt functionality was introduced by Salesforce in 2016. Developers can use the Salesforce Lightning framework to design solution templates and accelerate the creation of customer experiences.

Paladin used this technology to develop a Bolt that can be easily and quickly deployed to migrate a Jive community to Salesforce Community Cloud with little to no down time and far less loss of data than other methods. The Bolt also allows Paladin to backdate content and conserve content data, even that created by archived or defunct users profiles, so that the new community still houses all the content of the former one.
